What to know before UTSA plays Marshall in the Frisco Bowl

The University of Texas at San Antonio has a chance to make school history wen they play Marshall in the Frisco Bowl on Dec. 19.

After losing their first three bowl games, the Roadrunners will try to win the school’s first-ever bowl against the Thundering Herd.

Here’s everything fans need to know before the Frisco Bowl.

Player to know: UTSA: Joshua Cephus, 82 receptions, 1,049 yards, nine touchdowns; Marshall: Rasheen Ali, 1,043 yards, 13 touchdowns

It’s a fact: UTSA: The Roadrunners completed their first season as a member of the American Athletic Conference after leaving Conference USA. UTSA went 7-1 in the AAC with their lone in-conference loss coming to Tulane.

Marshall: In its second season in the Sun Belt Conference, the Thundering Herd couldn’t capitalize on a 4-0 start finishing the season 2-6 in their final eight games.
