Need to know where to vote on Ohio's Issue 1? Here is how to find your polling location

Early voting for the Aug. 8 special election is now underway, where voters are set to vote on one issue, Issue 1.

Voters will decide on Tuesday whether the state should require 60% of voters to enact new constitutional amendments instead of the current simple majority of 50% plus one.

Over 150,000 Ohioans cast ballots in the first week of early voting for the August election.

Here's what to know for the last few days of early voting:

Where to vote early on Ohio's Issue 1

For in-person early voting, you can go to your county board of elections. Here is a list of those in the central Ohio area:

Franklin County Board of Elections: 1700 Morse Road, Columbus

Delaware County Board of Elections: 2079 US Highway 23 N., Delaware

Licking County Board of Elections: 20 S. 2nd St., Newark

Fairfield County Board of Elections: 951 Liberty Drive, Lancaster

Pickaway County Board of Elections: 141 W. Main St., Circleville

Madison County Board of Elections: 1423 State Route 38 SE, London

Union County Board of Elections: 835 E. 5th St., Marysville

Board of Elections early voting hours

You can vote early in person for the Aug. 8 special election until Aug. 6. Early voting hours for Ohio:

Aug. 2-4: 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 5: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Aug. 6: 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

How to find your polling place for Election Day, Aug. 8

To find your polling location for the Aug. 8 special election, visit the Ohio Secretary of State voter information website, voterlookup.ohiosos.gov. You must enter your first and last name and county, click submit and click your name to see your polling location.

Polls open on Election Day from 6:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m.
