It has been wonderful covering the Knoxville community this past year! From high school proms, festivals and sporting events, I witnessed many joyous occasions through the lens of my camera. Other stories were more emotional to cover, like the aftermath of the Indigo Lane wildfire outside of the Great Smoky Mountains.
As always, I look forward to the picture I will take tomorrow. Or in this case, next year!

Patrick Vaughn, co-owner of the Von Bryan Estate, walks through three burned firefighting engines which fought the Hatcher Mountain/Indigo Lane wildfire at the property last week on Hatcher Mountain Road in Wears Valley, Tenn.
