Knoxville weather radar: Track Winter Storm Izzy, possible weekend snow accumulation

Knoxvillians could see snow this weekend as a weather system being referred to by The Weather Channel as Winter Storm Izzy crosses the eastern United States.

According to the National Weather Service, there's potential for snow Saturday morning and Sunday evening, with the stronger chance being Sunday eveningh

According to the National Weather Service, Knoxville has more than a 50% chance of seeing up to 2 inches of snow.

Because of the conditions, the NWS has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the entire Cumberland Plateau, northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia for Saturday and Sunday.
