The date (2/24/20) is a special symbol because Gianna Bryant wore No. 2 when she played for the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation, and Bryant finished his NBA career as No. 24. And as Vanessa Bryant added, she and Kobe were together for 20 years.

Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles, aka the ‘House that Kobe built’.

How can I watch the Kobe memorial?

Check back here on Monday, as Yahoo Sports will have a livestream available.

Fans have been asked not to converge at Staples Center unless they have a ticket for the ceremony. It will not be shown on screens outside the arena or at nearby LA Live.

How can I get tickets to the Kobe memorial?

Demand is extremely high for the event, with at least 90,000 people having registered for a chance to attend. Staples Center holds 20,000 but many guests of course will be Bryant’s friends, family and other NBA luminaries. A lottery system was set up through Ticketmaster and fans selected for it will had a chance to buy tickets.

How much are tickets?

From Yahoo Sports’ Jeff Eisenberg: “A limited number of tickets will be made available to the general public for three tiers of seating: $224 for one ticket, two for $224 or $24.02 apiece.” All proceeds will go to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.

Where are Kobe and Gigi Bryant interred?

Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter were laid to rest in a private family ceremony in Orange County, Calif., on Feb. 7 near their family home, according to death certificates.

Mourners have been flocking to the cemetery in an attempt to pay their respects, but a spokesperson for Pacific View Memorial Park cemetery in Corona Del Mar has told media that fans are not finding the right gravesite.
