Kourtney Kardashian has shared the first photos of her newborn son Rocky, seven weeks after his birth.

The Kardashians star welcomed her first child with husband Travis Barker last month, after revealing his name to be Rocky Thirteen Barker.

Taking to Instagram to share her son with the world, the reality star posted a carousel of snaps featuring the newborn being cradled by his doting parents.

Kourtney's sister Khloé Kardashian was quick to share her love for her new nephew, writing: "Those little toes!"

Kourtney also has three children — Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, eight — with former partner Scott Disick. Travis shares three children — Landon, 19, Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana, 24 — with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

Ahead of their viral pregnancy announcement, which saw Kourtney break the news to her husband as he performed on stage at a Blink-182 concert, the couple had been very open about their fertility struggles.

As documented on the Disney+ reality series, the pair had to try alternative methods after in vitro fertilisation (IVF) didn't work for them.

During her pregnancy, it was announced that Travis had to abruptly leave his band's European tour after Kourtney underwent "urgent" surgery to save her unborn child.

"I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life," she wrote on Instagram. "I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this."

'Til Death Do Us Part: Kourtney and Travis is available to stream on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu in the United States. The Kardashians seasons 1-4 are available to stream now on Disney+.
