The Kardashian rumour mill has been churning again and this time it's about Kourtney Kardashian, who fans have assumed might be pregnant with her fourth child. But the no-nonsense Keeping Up With The Kardashians star expertly shut that one down pretty quickly, taking to Instagram to set the record straight.

It all started when Kourtney, mother to Mason, 10, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 5, with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, posted a series of photos on her Instagram account. In the second, she appears relaxed, lying on a sofa in a bikini while reading a book.

On the photo, the fan commented: “SHE’S PREGNANT,” with others users posting question marks and emojis in support.

Kourtney pretty much immediately shut the rumours down by responding: “This is me when I have a few extra pounds on, and I actually love it,” she wrote. “I have given birth three amazing times and this is the shape of my body.”

Hear, hear Kourtney. We're very here for body positivity and women starting the discussion about weight gain not meaning pregnancy - and a star with the platform and profile of a Kardashian addressing it head on is a huge step forward.

Of course, this isn't the first time a rumour like this has hit the Kardashian family - they're regularly trolled, sadly, and in April fans asked if she was expecting when an image of her in a bikini revealed her stomach looking different.

Her response? "No I wish. It’s the angle."

Out of all the Kardashian sisters, momager Kris Jenner reckons Kourtney will be next to get pregnant. Chatting on The Ellen Degeneres Show earlier this year, she said her daughter most likely to give birth next was: “Kourtney. Or maybe Kylie. Maybe Kendall!”
