Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker matched in black for their date Friday night, going out to see Hadestown at the Kennedy Center in New York City. The musical tells the story of mythic Greek figures Orpheus and Eurydice. In the original story, Eurydice is sent to the underworld and Orpheus attempts to rescue her.

After taking in the tragic romance, the couple headed to The Polo Bar for dinner. They seem to be in town for Barker's upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live, where Barker will be a special guest during Young Thug's musical guest performance—he appears on a remix of Young Thug's “Ski.” Kardashian was also seen accompanying Barker to rehearsals this week.

It's been a big month for SNL and the Kardashians. Last week, Kim Kardashian was the show's host after a week of committed rehearsals. During the episode, Kim actually played her sister in a sketch spoofing the public displays of affection Kourtney and Barker are prone to making. In a sketch called “The People's Kourt,” Kim pretended to be Kourtney passing judgment on her family's drama. Then, Mikey Day playing Barker appears for a little cuddling.

“You're so punk,” Day's Barker says.

“Will you drum ‘All the Small Thing’ on my a-- when we get home?” Kim as Kourtney asks, and he replies, “Hands or sticks?”

The couple wasn't offended, a source told E! News.

“Kourtney and Travis loved it,” they said. “Kim wanted the jokes to be a complete surprise to the family. The whole family was game for any and all jokes and were very supportive of Kim. None of them take themselves too seriously and didn't want Kim or the show to hold back any punches. They thought she was hilarious and did a great job.”
