Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff celebrates 60 years

ST. JOSEPH — The 60th Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff takes place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 9 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 10 at Lake Bluff Park.

The event features 172 juried artists from across the country. Media include painting, sculpture, digital art, clay, metal, functional 3-D, mixed media 3-D, printmaking, glass, photography, jewelry, drawing and fibers.

The weekend begins with a 60th birthday celebration block party from 5 to 10 p.m. July 8 at the Krasl, 707 Lake Blvd. The event includes a cash bar, food trucks and the opportunity to meet exhibiting artists. Saxsquatch & Bridge Band, The Lasso DJ and the Jordan Hamilton Trio perform. Admission is $5-$3; free for ages 2 and younger.

Daily admission to the art fair is $5-$3; free for ages 2 and younger. Same-day re-entry allowed.
