The 54 Below at the Rinker cabaret series premieres next month, kicking off with the first Florida performance of Christine Pedi's "Snow Bizness." Pedi, known for her vocal impressions, has appeared in a number of Broadway shows and is a daily host on Sirius XM Radio's Broadway channel. There are two performances of "Snow Bizness" at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1-2. Tickets start at $30.

Families can check out a sensory-friendly performance of "The Rainbow Fish" at 10 a.m. Dec. 2 in Persson Hall, as the title character — inspired by the beloved children's book of the same name written by Marcus Pfister — explores his undersea home. Tickets start at $12.

The hit musical "Mean Girls," based on the Tina Fey-scripted movie of the same name, has shows at 8 p.m. Dec. 5, 2 and 8 p.m. Dec. 9 and 2 p.m. Dec. 10. Tickets start at $34. The story follows high schooler Cady, who returns from an anthropology-filled childhood in Africa to the wilds of a suburban high school, where she crosses the ruthless Regina George.

The first installment of the Palm Beach Improv's new partnership with the Kravis Center is "Jeff Ross: Take a Banana for the Ride," featuring the hilarious Ross in shows at 7 and 9:45 p.m. Dec. 8 and 7 and 9:45 p.m. Dec. 9. Tickets start at $37.50.

The New World Symphony of Miami Beach returns to the Kravis for a show at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11 with tickets starting at $35. Gustav Mahler's epic Sixth Symphony is on the program.

The second Broadway hit to come to the Kravis in December, "Beetlejuice," will be at 8 p.m. Dec. 19, 21 and 22, 2 and 8 p.m. Dec. 20 and 23, and 2 p.m. Dec. 24. The musical is based on Tim Burton's "Beetlejuice," which tells the story of a "strange and unusual" teenager who befriends a recently deceased couple. The group ends up fighting the title character, Beetlejuice, as he tries to control the couple's afterlife. Tickets start at $44.

Two more Palm Beach Improv series installments starring Carlos Mencia — 7 and 9:45 p.m. Dec. 29-30 — and Fortune Feimster — 8 p.m. Dec. 31 — round out the month.
