Krispy Kreme teases return of fan-favorite seasonal doughnut. When can you get it?
Krispy Kreme fans can soon celebrate the return of a holiday favorite.
The Santa belly doughnut lands back in the bakery case Friday, Nov. 24, the Charlotte-based doughnut chain said in a news release.
The popular pastry will be available at participating locations for a limited time, though Krispy Kreme didn’t say how long. Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
A doughnut is a returning favorite on Krispy Kreme’s holiday menu and features a sweet “cookies & kreme” filling, according to a product description. It’s then dipped in red icing and decked with Santa’s belt and a candy belt buckle.
This year, the seasonal treat will appear alongside Krispy Kreme’s all-new “Elf” doughnut collection, celebrating the film’s 20th anniversary, the release said. The lineup features three new doughnuts:
Buddy snow globe doughnut
Buddy makes breakfast doughnut
Christmas lights doughnut
The limited-time collection and the Santa belly doughnut are both available beginning Nov. 24.
