One of the scariest things about the coronavirus pandemic is how much we still have to learn, and how many questions we still have about what’s happening and what’s to come. But if adults with access to endless news sites are feeling lost, we can only imagine how our young kids are thinking about this crisis. Enter: Kristen Bell. Bell will be teaching kids about coronavirus with an hour-long Nickelodeon Town Hall, and her guidance couldn’t have come at a better time.

Bell talked to Entertainment Weekly about the special, called #KidsTogether: The Nickelodeon Town Hall, and explained why she thinks an outlet like this is so vital for kids right now.

“It’s so important to remember that we are all in this together, and our kids and loved ones need outlets to help them process and understand what’s going on and, most importantly, to still feel connected,” Bell explained. “I hope kids and families come away from this special feeling a little more comfortable and that they enjoy some much-needed moments of humor during this difficult time.”

Bell isn’t the only celeb lending her star power to this project — Kenan Thompson, Ciara, Josh Gad, and Charli D’Amelio are all contributing too, and Alicia Keys will be performing.

During the special, Bell will be chatting with doctors across the country to address kids’ number-one questions about the new coronavirus, and she’ll also be having kids share their own experiences of social distancing and more. If you’re home with kids and they’ve been having a hard time (like all of us), we seriously recommend tuning in and hearing what Bell has to say.

#KidsTogether: The Nickelodeon Town Hall will air on Nickelodeon on Monday, March 30, at 7 p.m. ET. It will also be available on Nick On Demand, Nickelodeon YouTube, the Nick App, and the Nick Pluto TV channel after it’s aired.
