Kristen Bell’s kids are meh on “Frozen”
In an ironic twist that can only be described as one of the mysteries of parenting, it turns out that Kristen Bell’s kids don’t really love Frozen as much as the rest of us.
Kristen went on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday and Jimmy asked her if her two daughters, ages 3 and 1, “go nuts” over the fact that she plays the part of Princess Anna in Frozen.
“No, they could care less,” Kristen says. “No, no, God no.”
When Jimmy asks why, she says,
“I don’t know, because they live to break down my self-esteem? It’s that, and they don’t watch much TV. I mean they’re 1 and 3. They’re new to it all. But [the 3-year-old] got sick last month and Dax had said, ‘Should we put on a movie?…Should we blow her mind and put on Frozen?’ And we did, and…about 15 minutes in she said, ‘Mummy, I think you should turn this off.’ She didn’t like it.”
“Who could’ve guessed you’d have the only children in America who don’t like Frozen?” Kimmel says. “But I guess it makes sense. No one wants to hear their mother sing, right?”
Fair point. And with the cast getting together to start production on Frozen 2 soon, Kristen’s kids can look forward to a whole new batch of songs to roll their eyes at.
