Pirelli has unveiled its annual, star-studded calendar: 2020's version pays tribute to the William Shakespeare tragedy "Romeo and Juliet."

The 47th edition of the calendar, named "Looking for Juliet," features an assortment of elite film and music stars, including Claire Foy, Kristen Stewart, Emma Watson, Yara Shahidi, Indya Moore, Rosalía, Stella Roversi, Mia Goth and Chris Lee.

Italian photographer Paolo Roversi aimed to showcase the "Juliet that exists in every woman” through each intimate and high-fashion image of the A-listers.

"I was looking for a pure soul, someone full of innocence that combined strength, beauty, tenderness and courage," Roversi said in a press release Tuesday. "I found this in the glimmers of an eye, in the gestures and words of Emma and Yara, Indya and Mia. And in the smiles and tears of Kristen and Claire. In the voice and chants of Chris and Rosalía. And in Stella, the innocence. Because there’s a Juliet in every woman, and I will never stop looking for her."

Whoopi Goldberg introduced the calendar's stars during an unveiling Tuesday in Verona, Italy, the "city of lovers" where Romeo and Juliet's story played out.

Last year's Pirelli calendar featured ballet dancer Misty Copeland, actress Julia Garner, model Gigi Hadid and French model and actress Laetitia Casta.
