Kristen Stewart Just Dyed Her Pixie Cut Bubblegum Pink
Kristen Stewart is no stranger to bold haircuts or color—she's had long hair, shaved hair, electric orange hair, and red hair. Now the actress has dyed her signature flipped-over pixie haircut a stunning shade of bubblegum pink.
For a Chanel event over the weekend, the brand ambassador tinted just the platinum blonde sections of her hair pink. The end result proves that pink can totally be punk—especially when styled like Stewart.
The actress was last seen with her blonde hair in Los Angeles on September 10, but then on the 12th she was spotted at the 45th Deauville American Film Festival in France with a new pink hue. When she hit the red carpet for the Seberg premiere later that day, she had her new pink hair pulled back at her crown and secured with a row of black snap clips—the kind we all used in the '90s and are trending again today.
The best part about having bleached hair is the ability to change the color on a whim. Once hair is already lightened, you can add semi-permanent color and get a bold result. If your hair is dark, then you'll need to first lift the base color to get an electric pink shade as seen on Stewart.
On September 13th, Stewart was seen at an Award Ceremony at the film festival with her hair let loose. She paired her new hair color with a classic Chanel tweed jacket, white tee shirt, nautical white shorts, and black leather ankle boots with exposed white socks.
