It’s no secret: gays love ghosts and all things spooky. Halloween has officially been rebranded as “Gay Christmas,” horror movies like Hocus Pocus, Jennifer’s Body, and The Hunger are queer classics, and you know we love to go visit a psychic!

Now, we’ll have another gay ghost thing to celebrate, as Oscar-nominee Kristen Stewart is teaming up with hairstylist CJ Romero to bring the gays the ghost-hunting reality show we need!

“I’m scarily excited to announce that I’m teaming up with Scout, the producers of Queer Eye, Legendary, The Hype, on the most gayest, most funnest, most titilating queer ghost hunting show ever,” Stewart says in a video posted on Romero’s Instagram. (Lol, look at that boob grab as she says “titillating,” please never change KStew!)

“And casting begins! We need to find the most LGBTQ+ ghost hunters, paranormal specialists, mediums, psychics, investigators, who will lead the pack on this super gay ghost hunting adventure,” she continues in the video. “So if you are curious, which is what you should be when starting a new adventure, just check out the website, which is ghost.castingcrane.com for more information.”

The post on Romero’s page asks, “are you a medium, historian, ghost hunting expert… and also a member of the LGBTQIA+ community?? Well if so, please go to the link in my bio and apply today! Can’t wait to see what you ghouls bring us!”

The casting website asks some basic questions, plus ones about applicants’ LGBTQ+ identity, as well as questions like “what makes you unique or different from other paranormal experts,” what kind of equipment do you use in connection with your paranormal activities, if any,” and “what is the SCARIEST place you have ever investigated?”

We don't yet know where the show will air, but the website says a major streamer is looking at the show. If you think you might be the queer ghost-hunter this show needs, go and apply today!
