Popular podcast “Your Own Backyard” just dropped another episode about the Kristin Smart case.

The episode, titled “People vs. Flores: The Conclusion Part Two,” released Wednesday evening,

It’s the second one podcast host Chris Lambert has released since a Monterey County jury found Paul Flores guilty of murdering Smart in October — more than 26 years after the Cal Poly freshman disappeared.

Flores’ father, Ruben Flores, was acquitted by a separate jury of helping his son conceal the crime.

Smart’s family and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office have credited Lambert with helping crack the case by bringing forth new witnesses and sharing the San Luis Obispo woman’s story worldwide.

Throughout the three-month trial, Lambert released weekly episodes summarizing court proceedings.

He then embarked on a “month-long tour” to interview major players in the trial.

On May 12, Lambert released his first episode since the verdict.

In it, he speaks with the team who prosecuted the case: former San Luis Obispo County Deputy District Attorney Chris Peuvrelle, San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office investigator James “J.T.” Camp and retired Sheriff’s Office detective Clint Cole.

In the episode that dropped Wednesday, Lambert speaks the prosecution team about its closing arguments and with NBC Dateline journalists Ann Preisman and Stefani Barber about their coverage of the Flores trial.

More episodes of “Your Own Backyard” are expected in the future, though they are not being released on a regular schedule.

Listeners can expect to hear Lambert’s interviews with the Smart family and jurors who heard the case.
