The frozen bite starts with sweet cream ice cream, and is mixed with white cake pieces, pink candy bits, and icing swirls. So it sounds like it lives up to its name and it literally tastes like a bunch of cake pops were crushed up and mixed with ice cream. Talk about a sweet treat!

The Deluxe Cake Pop Ice Cream was recently listed on Kroger’s website for $2.79 per 48-ounce container. It’s a limited-edition flavor, so don’t expect it to hang around with Chocolate Paradise, Mint Chocolate Chip, and the other year-round varieties.

Since you’ll be snagging this ice cream anyway, you might want to pick up another one of Kroger’s limited-edition ice creams that just hit stores: Lemon Cheesecake. It offers a very different flavor profile from the cake pop one, so it’ll be interesting to see which becomes your favorite.
