KSU sees record enrollment this fall

Nov. 10—Kennesaw State University, the third largest university in the state behind Georgia State and Georgia Tech, logged its fourth consecutive year of record enrollment this fall with more than 43,000 students.

The number of undergraduate students increased by almost 1% since the fall of 2021, while graduate enrollment increased 6.3%.

Increasing the number of graduate students and programs is one of KSU's four strategic initiatives, along with improving undergraduate education, encouraging interdisciplinary research, and advancing community and culture.

"KSU is a destination campus, with students from all corners of Georgia, every state in the nation and 120 countries from around the world. The growth in undergraduate and graduate enrollment reflects our focus on the academic needs of our students and our commitment to provide world-class degrees in areas in high demand in the marketplace," President Kathy Schwaig said in a news release.
