Kansas Athletics has revealed the location for Saturday’s 8 a.m. ESPN GameDay show and announced a motto of “Fill the Hill,” for the occasion.

The set for the ESPN football preview show will be basically in the middle of Campanile Hill, which is the south end of Booth Memorial Stadium.

KU football’s Twitter account put out a map of the location on Tuesday night. The set, according to the map, appears to be between tailgating tents already standing on The Hill and KU’s football practice fields, which are southeast of Booth Memorial Stadium.

The GameDay set will face cameras at the bottom of the Hill — thus, the historic Campanile, as well as throngs of KU fans, should be visible in the background.

The GameDay set will be constructed Friday. The morning show (8-11 a.m., with the last hour or so inside the stadium) will be hosted by Reece Davis, with Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard also on hand.

The game between KU (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) and TCU (4-0, 1-0) is scheduled for an 11 a.m. kickoff. KU is ranked No. 19 in the latest AP poll, TCU 17th.

This marks the first time that GameDay will travel to Lawrence for football. GameDay has been at KU for basketball games 10 times.
