Kuleba warns about new Russian offensive this winter

"I think that Russia's capability of launching a big offensive, which is most likely to resume somewhere in late January-February is what they have been planning," Kuleba said.

He says he is convinced that the Russians still hope that they can break through the Ukrainian lines and advance deeper into the country.

According to the minister, mobilization, training of the newly mobilized, and relocation of military hardware across Russia indicate its preparations for the offensive.

However, Kuleba stressed that Ukraine is doing everything to disrupt Russia's plans.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned that Russia could try to negotiate a bogus truce to allow invading Russian forces to regroup before a new attack.

According to US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have an advantage on the front in winter.

British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace advised Ukraine to "continue pressure" on the battlefield and through the winter.
