This month, residents can add Kung Fu Tea — located at 12760 Riley St. in Holland Township — to the list.

The new business opened less than two weeks ago on a trial basis from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. The grand opening is Nov. 2-6 and, during that time, hours will change to 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.

Judy Nguyen, who owns the store with her husband Mark, said those hours could change again heading into spring and summer next year.

The menu includes classic teas, milk cap teas, fruit teas, slushies, espresso and more. Just pick a size, choose your toppings from a list of popping bubbles and standard bubbles, the level of sugar you prefer and the amount of ice.

To produce the freshest products, each Kung Fu Tea location brews a fresh batch of tea every three hours and cooks the standard bubbles every two hours.

Jenna Nguyen works at the new store with her aunt and uncle. She said that, during the grand opening event, customers will receive special deals all week, including deals on a selection of teas.
