Kuzma putting up career highs in points, threes

Though durability remains a slight concern, Kyle Kuzma has excelled this season and is well on his way to repeating or surpassing his top-100 fantasy campaign from last season.

- After finishing last season ranked within the top 109 cap formats, Kyle Kuzma is well on his way to duplicating that feat in 2022-23. Through 12 games, he's averaging 18.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.3 steals, 0.7 blocks, and 2.2 3-pointers in just under 33 minutes per game with the points and 3-point numbers both being career highs. Recent uptick in production has come with Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis both sidelined.

Although, the latter did return for Saturday's win over the Jazz, and that should not be used as a reason to dismiss Kuzma, because it seems as if the Wizards are willing to run a bit more of the offense through him. Also worth mentioning here are the medical histories of the ailing Porzingis. [INAUDIBLE] hasn't hit the 65 games played mark in a season since 2018-19, while Porzingis hasn't done so since 2016-17. Those reasons alone, Kuzma is a player worth holding on to and counting on for the long haul in fantasy leagues.
