Kwik Trip will start building fourth store in Marshfield soon

MARSHFIELD – Marshfield is getting a fourth Kwik Trip.

Steven Wrobel, who represents Kwik Trip’s public relations, said construction is planned to start in March at the new Kwik Trip. The store is expected to be finished and open in August.

Plans for this location near the intersection of State 13 and McMillan Street have been in the works for about a year, when city leaders annexed the land from the town of McMillan.

In February 2022, the city’s Plan Commission approved annexing two parcels of land just north of the Wood County line, south of the intersection of 1500 and 1502 W. McMillan St. and Veterans Parkway Frontage Road, from the town of McMillan to the city of Marshfield. According to minutes of that meeting, the annexed land would be for a Kwik Trip.
