Daily Forecast

The daily forecast story is updated every day with the latest forecast predictions.

Rainfall Totals

Austin area rainfall amounts are tracked here. The rainfall total page shows rainfall as reported to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration by monitoring stations throughout Central Texas, including from the Lower Colorado River Authority’s Hydromet system.

Driving Conditions and Low Water Crossings

There is an interactive map provided by TxDOT on this page that shows current driving conditions.

This page lists low water crossings and road closures.
