Kyiv Oblast missile strike: Russian forces hit and damage military base

The Russian missile strike on Kyiv Oblast on the morning of 28 July targeted a military base, inflicting structural damage.

Quote from Hromov: "At about 05:00, the enemy launched six Kalibr cruise missiles on a military base in the village of Liutizh, in Kyiv Oblast.

So far we know that one building has been destroyed and two have been damaged. In addition, one cruise missile was shot down in the air over the Bucha quarry."

Details: Hromov said that the Russian missiles were launched from the waters of the Black Sea from the area near Cape Fiolent.

With regard to Chernihiv Oblast, the spokesman for the Ukrainian General Staff has clarified that Russian forces launched around 20 rockets on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Honcharivske using multiple rocket launchers between 05:25 and 06:30. The rockets were launched from the village of Zyabrovka in the Republic of Belarus.

"Our military personnel have suffered losses, we are waiting to confirm the number," Hromov added.
