Kyle Chrisley beat up boss, threatened to stab and kill him, affidavit says

New information on the arrest of Kyle Chrisley shows that he physically assaulted and threatened to stab his boss to death.

The arrest warrant, which charged Chrisley with felony aggravated assault, says he brandished a “fixed blade” during a work-related incident, reports USA Today.

The victim was reportedly Chrisley’s employer, Deven Campbell, who serves as “Transportation Supervisor at McLane Company, Inc.,” according to his LinkedIn.

Chrisley allegedly struck Campbell “multiple times in the face and upper body,” before wielding the knife and threatening to end his life, says the police affidavit.

One responding officer said Campbell also received injuries to his head, neck and hand from the altercation, as well as bruises and lacerations. Witnesses on the scene confirmed that Chrisley did threaten to stab his employer while holding the knife.

He was arrested by the Smyrna Police Department and booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center in Tennessee, before posting $3,000 bond.

As of now, there’s no clear motive or information as to what prompted the altercation.

The incident comes just two months after Chrisley’s reality-star parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, began doing time in federal prison for bank fraud and tax evasion. The family was the subject of USA Network’s “Chrisley Knows Best.”

Kyle Chrisley has yet to speak publicly about the arrest, but is scheduled for a court appearance March 20.
