Former Elder High School standout Kyle Rudolph signed a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team announced Monday.

Rudolph's base pay is believed to be $2 million, per multiple reports, with up to $1.5 million in incentives available.

Rudolph reportedly drew recent interest from multiple NFL teams. He reportedly had a workout with the Denver Broncos in April.

Rudolph announced in March that he was being released by the New York Giants. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Rudolph said in a text message that he intended to continue playing.

Rudolph signed a two-year deal with the Giants in March 2021 before having foot surgery. He had 26 receptions for 257 yards with one touchdown in his only season with the team.

Rudolph, 32, said he received interest from about a dozen teams after he was released in March 2021 by the Vikings after 10 NFL seasons in Minnesota.

Rudolph had 28 catches for 334 yards with one touchdown - on an impressive, one-handed catch against the Tennessee Titans in September - in 12 games during the 2020 season.

Rudolph and his family announced in March 2020 they were donating 82,000 meals to Minnesota residents affected by uncertainty related to COVID-19 through Second Harvest Heartland.

In Jan. 2020, thousands of dollars were donated to Kyle Rudolph's End Zone at University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital after gloves Rudolph wore, signed and donated were sold on eBay.
