Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals replace young fan's autographed jersey

A tweet Monday morning about a young Arizona Cardinals fans who had an autographed jersey taken at the team's Red & White Practice on Saturday set off an uproar among fans of the team.

Quarterback Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals made sure the situation had a happy ending, however.

"Alright @AZCardinals #redsea, we need your help," the tweet said. "Posting on behalf of my friends son who’s autographed @K1 jersey got taken at the red and white practice. He is heartbroken."

Another tweet showed the uniform and said that the young fan "had worked for 2 years to get these autographs."

The QB and the team rallied to get a new Murray uniform for the young fan, complete with autographs from players on the team — to help ease the anguish of the young fan.

Both the team and the Cardinals sent out messages showing the uniform, with the message that it was "on the way."

The young fan's response upon getting the news?

"The happy tears were flowing like a river!!!!!"
