Kylie Jenner Breaks Own Hair Rules By Going Pink

Any Kylie Jenner fan worth their weight in hair dye will know that the reality TV starlet isn’t afraid to switch up her the colour of her tresses. So when she posted a series of Valentines snaps on Instagram rocking pretty pink hair, it won’t have come as that much of a surprise. Except for the fact that by doing so she was breaking one of her own hair rules.

Last year, the 18-year-old confessed to Vogue.com that she would probably never experiment with going pink.
“I’d probably never go pink or purple [when it comes to my hair] because blue is my thing. Other than that, I’m extremely open to changing my style and trying different things.” she said.
Maybe it was the fact it was Valentines day that encouraged the 18-year-old to chuck her own hair rule book out the window. Keeping true to the day’s pink theme, she debuted her bubblegum locks while taking a romantic helicopter ride with boyfriend Tyga.
And it’s not the first time Kylie’s pushed the hair-colour boundaries, having already experimented with green, grey, blue and platinum locks in the past.
How long this new look is here to stay is anyone’s guess. Tomorrow could see her surprising fans with rainbow tresses. Because for Kylie samey = boring.
