Kylie Jenner faces backlash for parking in disabled parking spot

Kylie Jenner faced backlash for parking and posing for a couple's pictures in a disabled parking spot.

The 21-year-old posted a picture on Instagram showing her car placed right in the middle of a spot for disabled drivers.

Jenner was posing with Travis Scorr, her boyfriend and dad to one-year-old Stormi, but somehow failed to notice the official blue sign behind her.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star’s 141 million Instagram followers noticed and flocked to her comment section to scold her.

The reality TV star, who is a Los Angeles native, posed in a hot pink blazer and tiny, grey mini skirt as she cuddled up to rapper Travis who draped an arm the mother of his first child.

She wrote alongside the snap: “Partners in crime 4 evaaa. [sic]”

But the loved up display was overshadowed by the parking saga, which was clear as social media followers flocked to the page to tell Jenner off.

One user commented: “Anyone notice or care they’re in a handicap space?

“Why you park in handicapped spot you’re not handicapped!!! Those people really might need it!.” another angry fan added.

“Money and no manners! u are no better than anyone else. money should not give u special privileges. God is watching u [sic],” a third commented.

A confused social media user said: “Who else sees the disabled bay sign? NO ONE.....”

California law requires that only those who have a handicapped placard or license plate may park in special parking spaces for the disabled.

It is not clear if Jenner was in her home state when the picture was taken but under the California Vehicle Code it is illegal for anyone to park in a crosshatched area next to a handicapped parking space; these areas must be left open for wheelchair and wheelchair lift access.

It is also illegal to misuse a handicapped placard.

The Standard has contacted Kylie Jenner’s reps for comment.
