Kylie Jenner Gives Her Neon Green Dress an Edgy Twist in the Chunkiest Combat Boots

The beauty mogul stepped out for a delayed birthday lunch with friends out in Hollywood, Calif., yesterday in a can’t-miss ensemble. The outfit included a bright green button-front shirt dress, cinched together with an included belted look. She accented the number with a $1,290 Prada shoulder bag and a black face mask from her sister Kim Kardashian’s Skims line, retailing for just $8 on the brand’s website.

Her purse wasn’t the only item she sported from Prada either. When it came to footwear, Jenner decided on the celeb-favorited Lug-Sole combat boots for the brand to contrast her bright dress. The utilitarian-style shoe features a removable top-zip nylon pouch strapped across the leg, debuting on the runway during the brand’s fall ’19 show in Milan. Lifted over 2-inches thanks to its platform outsole, the style can be found for $1,200 courtesy of Saks.

The Prada Lug-Sole boots are a go-to silhouette for a mix of stars, including the Kylie Cosmetics founder’s own sister Kendall Jenner as well as their friend Bella Hadid. The two models own the Monolith style in its taller counterpart, adding a longer shaft and more removable pockets for a more dramatic appeal.

On top of creating her own uber-successful Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin lines, the youngest Jenner sister also has had multiple gigs in the sneaker world. She formerly served as a brand ambassador for Puma before linking up with Adidas in August 2018, exclusively wearing Three Stripes styles in campaigns and across social media.

At the start of 2020, though, the celebrity posted photos of herself wearing a series of Nike sneakers, leading fans to speculate that her contract with Adidas had expired. Since then, Kylie has continued wearing rare Swoosh-adorned kicks, including rare Nike Air Yeezys and SB Dunk Lows from Travis Scott’s collaboration.
