From Kylie Jenner to Kiernan Shipka, Here's The Best Celebrity Style You Missed This Weekend

What did everyone get up to this weekend? I spent it scrolling through Instagram in my pajamas (don’t judge...it was a long week). Luckily for me, there were lots of fashion fits to lust after. The looks ranged from laid-back weekend vibes to full-on LOOKS. No matter what your mood is, we’ve got you covered with our best style of the weekend picks.

Best Sunnies

We love these Loewe glasses we’ve been seeing everywhere! Dua Lipa gives us a lesson on how they can amp up any outfit. Her all black fit, which featured Adidas’ sweatpants and platform boots, is the exact energy we want to channel this summer (only 3 more days until it officially starts!).

Best Pirate Cosplay

Storm Reid looks like she’s the most fashionable extra in a Pirates of the Caribbean film. This look is great because its distinctly Victorian vibe stands out from the other (more contemporary) looks at the MTV Movie & TV Awards. Storm paired the ornate jacket with a simple white shirt dress and strappy sandals, rightfully letting the statement piece take the spotlight.

Best Slime Look

We love all things Lizzo so naturally when we saw her neon green MTV Movie & TV Awards look, our jaws dropped. The designer of her feathered slime look, Christopher John Rogers, summed it up better than we ever could: “The Grinch dipped in Teen Nick Slime, but make it fashion!” Yes!

Best Menswear Look

Tessa Thomson is literally killing it with her looks lately. Last week, she earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in our Best Dressed roundup. Over the weekend, she wore an oversized metallic suit jacket to the MTV Awards. Her hair was expertly fashioned to look like Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. But what really got our attention was the swipe of bold color on her eyelids. We’ve just added purple eyeshadow to our online shopping carts.

Most Relatable

Maggie Rogers kept it low-key this weekend. Her cut off shorts, black tank, and straw hat made her look like a 21st-century Tom Sawyer. I can’t wait to see the snaps she took with the camera that’s slung over her shoulder (Maggie, if you’re reading this, please upload them to the ‘gram).

Best Baby Blue

Barbie Ferreira ROCKED this latex baby blue mini-dress to the MTV Awards. The material and corset of the dress was super edgy and punk, but the baby blue color was innocent and sweet, resulting in a pleasantly surprising look. The dainty pearls were the cherry on top of this contradictory fit.

Best One Shoulder Look

Also at the MTV Movie Awards, Kiernan Shipka wore an off-the shoulder Fendi dress paired with Fendi heels (sponcon??). As Michelle Li wrote for Teen Vogue earlier this month, “[the one shoulder top] is a simple yet unexpected silhouette that has been lost and forgotten in the depths of the fashion sphere, until now.
