Mission: panic.

Kyra Sedgwick took a guess at the likely reason she’s never been invited back to “Born on the Fourth of July” co-star Tom Cruise’s house.

The “Call Your Mother” star shared an uncomfortable incident during her appearance Wednesday on “The Drew Barrymore Show.”

“It was one of those nights that, you know, I often don’t get invited to,” Sedgwick, 55, said of the dinner she and husband Kevin Bacon — filming “A Few Good Men” at the time with Cruise — went to at the “Mission: Impossible” star’s house.

The star-studded night included Cruise’s then-wife Nicole Kidman, fellow “A Few Good Men” star Demi Moore and her then-husband Bruce Willis, and the film’s director Rob Reiner.

While looking around the home, Sedgwick found a “little button” beneath the mantel.

“And I was like, ‘Ooh what’s that little button?’ So I pressed the little button, because I just thought, maybe something interesting will happen,” she recalled. “Nothing happened and then I got a little nervous.”

The “Closer” star interrupted a story her host was telling to let him know.

“And he was like, ‘You pressed that button?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I pressed that button.’ And he goes, ‘That’s the panic button,’” said Sedgwick.

The night took a turn when several cop cars arrived.

“It was something. I didn’t get invited back,” said Sedgwick.
