LA County expands mental health support for students returning to school

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted to expand mental health support for students returning to school.

- Meantime, the LA County Board of Supervisors has voted to expand mental health support for students returning to school. The plan includes the creation of a mental health toolkit to help school staff identify warning signs of depression and anxiety in children. The board also directed the county CEO to find federal funding to help pay for the plan and declared next month Mental Health Awareness Month.
