LA Firefighter Spreads Good Karma On Skid Row By Passing Out Thousands Of Free Meals

Growing up, Vishal was inspired by his dad to do one good deed every day for someone else. Working late nights as a Los Angeles firefighter, Vishal would often see many unhoused people suffering on Skid Row, and he knew he had to do something about it. He founded The Good Karma, Los Angeles, a nonprofit dedicated to feeding the homeless with their food truck. Vishal and volunteers have passed out more than 30,000 free meals on Skid Row, and he hopes to create a community center in the future to help other low-income neighborhoods.
