Photo: Krista SchlueterLast night, Manhattan was blanketed by ice, snow, and sleet, but inside Plant Food + Wine in the East Village, it was all about fluff. La Ligne and House of Fluff teamed up to create a capsule of seven faux-fur items, ranging from a beret (a steal at $70) to bomber jackets and peacoats. And modeling the wares was an equally stylish crew, including Erin Walsh, Hilary Rhoda, and Jessica Joffe, who joined La Ligne’s Meredith Melling, Molly Howard, and Valerie Macaulay in toasting House of Fluff’s Kym Canter on the collection.
Afterwards, guests including Bee Carrozzini, Huma Abedin, and Isabella Boylston tucked into chef Matthew Kenney’s plant-based meal, which was as elegant as it was delectable.
