La Quinta is temporarily closing City Hall to walk-ins starting Friday, officials announced Thursday in an email.
With the closure, the city council will move to a virtual rather than in-person meeting on Tuesday. The meeting can be viewed at laquinta.12milesout.com. The agenda, when posted on the city's website, LaQuintaCA.gov, will include a Zoom link and instructions for those wanting to participate through public comments.
The La Quinta Wellness Center will temporarily close as well, starting Monday, officials said.
Though City Hall will be closed to the public, staff will continue working. Online services remain available through the city's website, laquintaca.gov, or by calling (760) 777-7000.
