Labor Day 2020: Indoor Dining And Holiday Fun All Weekend Long

MIAMI, FL — Indoor dining is back for Labor Day weekend around the Miami area and a number of restaurants and hotels are masked up and ready to help us enjoy the holiday in a socially distanced way.

Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez plans to keep beaches open all weekend long, making Labor Day this summer's only three-day holiday beach weekend.

While Miami-area bars and nightclubs remain shuttered, you can count on restaurants to pick up the slack with your favorite wine, cocktails and beer on tap.

Don't forget to ask about Miami Spice deals not only this weekend but throughout the entire month of September for once-a-year savings at many of the best restaurants in town.

Miami Spice offers three-course meals at fixed prices of $25 for lunch or brunch and $39 for dinner but you must order from the Miami Spice menu and not all restaurants are participating this year. Be sure to ask about any surcharges for pricey menu items like filet mignon.

You might want to consider heading out to your favorite restaurant earlier rather than later since Miami-Dade County's 10 p.m. curfew remains in effect.
