Suicide Prevention Training and ‘We Remember You’ Candlelight Vigil — 5:30 p.m. (training) and 7 p.m. (vigil) Wednesday, Sept. 6. National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, 442 DeMazenod Drive, Belleville. The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows , along with the St. Clair County Suicide Prevention Alliance, will host an annual suicide prevention training (QPR) and candlelight vigil. QPR is a suicide prevention training for participants to be able to recognize the warning signs of suicide and to question, persuade and refer people at risk for help. Our vigil is to honor those we have lost to suicide. QPR Training will be held at the Shrine Visitors Center, and the vigil will be at the Lourdes Grotto on the Shrine grounds.
