Lacey Road in Manchester closed due to motor vehicle crash

10 P.M. UPDATE: Lacey Road is now open in all directions, police said.

MANCHESTER - Lacey Road is closed east of Schoolhouse Road due to a motor vehicle crash that will force detours in the area for the next several hours on Thursday night, according to police.

Details about the accident were not immediately available. The area impacted is in the Whiting section of Manchester, where Lacey Road cuts through the Pine Barrens between Manchester and Lacey townships.

All motorists were being told to seek an alternate route on Thursday night, police said.
