Lady A will perform at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif., on May 12, 2023.

Country: If you're "Lookin' For A Good Time," Lady A is performing Friday at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. The band's music features superb harmonies, emotional and uplifting lyrics with a blend of country, rock 'n' roll and pop music. Some Lady A hits you can expect to likely hear are "Love Don't Live Here," "Our Kind Of Love," "American Honey" and "Downtown."

The band, which consists of Hillary Scott (lead vocals), Charles Kelley (lead vocals and guitar) and Dave Haywood (backing vocals, mandolin, piano and guitar), used to go by the name Lady Antebellum until 2020 because, as the members said, they didn't consider the pre-Civil War "associations that weigh down this word," including ties to slavery. The move came shortly after the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.

If you go: 8 p.m., Friday, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway, Indio. $89 to $149. 760-342-5000. fantasyspringsresort.com
