Lady Gaga Sings "The Prayer" with Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli

From Woman's Day

Lady Gaga sent hairs raising at the culmination of Global Citizen's One World: Together at Home broadcast tonight, as she teamed up with musical giants Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, John Legend, and pianist Lang Lang for a chilling rendition of "The Prayer." Dion and Bocelli originally collaborated on the iconic ballad in 1999.

Abiding by social distancing guidelines, the quintet of musicians recorded their respective parts from their homes. All dressed in black save Dion, who stood out in a bright blue suit.

Gaga did more than take the mic; she also helped Global Citizen curate the massive, star-studded event. Celebrity appearances included Beyoncé, former first ladies Michelle Obama and Laura Bush, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah Winfrey, Lizzo, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kerry Washington, and more.

The "Stupid Love" singer also shared updates on Instagram as she watched the broadcast from home and cheered on performers as they took the screen. She posted a photo shouting out her fellow fundraisers, including boyfriend Michael Polansky.

When Together at Home was first announced earlier in April, Global Citizen and its partners had already raised over $35 million for COVID-19 relief efforts.
