A terrifying situation has just played out involving Lady Gaga's dogs and her dog walker. As reported by People, the star's dog walker was shot on the night of Wednesday, Feb. 24 and her two dogs were stolen. The attack occurred in Los Angeles. The dog walker—reportedly 30-year-old Ryan Fischer, according the Daily Mail—is in the hospital while the shooter is at large.
Lady Gaga is away from her home and working in Italy, but she is asking for help in the matter and offering a large reward to anyone who can bring her two French Bulldogs back home. The dog walker is recovering.
According to People, the Los Angeles Police Department said the shooting happened on Wednesday around 9:40 p.m. on Sierra Bonita Avenue in Hollywood and the dog walker was taken to the hospital afterwards. The LAPD confirmed the robbery and the shooting to Best Life, but declined to confirm the identity of the person who was shot or the owner of the dogs. CNN reports that the dog walker is in "stable" condition.
The shooter is said to have used a semi-automatic handgun and fled the scene in a vehicle that drove north toward Hollywood Boulevard. According to what police told CNN, the shooter was in a white sedan.
Lady Gaga is offering a $500K for the return of her dogs.
A "source close to the singer" told CNN that Gaga "is offering half-a-million dollars to anyone who has her two dogs, no questions asked." The source continued, "Anyone who has the dogs can use this email, KojiandGustav@gmail.com to retrieve the reward." People reports that a rep for the 34-year-old singer said that anyone with information on the incident can email that same address.

A third dog escaped during the attack.
The two dogs who were stolen are named Koji and Gustav. The dog walker was also taking care of Gaga's third French Bulldog, named Miss Asia. Fortunately, Asia escaped during the incident and was rescued by police. The Daily Mail reports that Gaga's bodyguard was able to pick her up from the police station.

Lady Gaga is out of the country to film a movie.
Gaga's dogs were being taken care of by her dog walker because she is away filming a movie in Italy. She is starring in Gucci, from director Ridley Scott, about the murder of Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of the founder of the Gucci fashion brand. Gaga plays Patrizia Reggiani, Gucci's ex-wife, who was convicted and served 18 years in prison for planning his assassination.
Gaga herself has not yet spoken out about the robbery.
