Lady Gaga’s Not Emotionally Dealing With Her Split From Ex-Fiancé Christian Carino Right Now
Lady Gaga and her ex-fiancé Christian Carino broke up in the week leading up to the Oscars, where she won (YAY) and performed “Shallow” with Bradley Cooper.
A new report from Us Weekly explains how she’s dealing (well, not dealing...) with her breakup.
While virtually the entire internet is rooting for Lady Gaga to become a thing with Bradley Cooper despite his being in a relationship, the Oscar winner is actually fresh off a breakup. Remember Christian Carino? Her fiancé up until a week ago? Yeah, that was a thing.
Breakups suck, so even though Gaga’s got a fancy statue and 1,000 romance memes born from performing with Bradley at the Oscars, sources say she’s not exactly coping with the split right now.
“Gaga has been in such a focus on her career right now and has not even had time to address what has been happening between her and Christian emotionally,” a source spilled to Us Weekly. “She has been telling those around her, ‘Let’s stay focused.’”
I mean, she was damn pretty busy, so that makes sense. But it also doesn’t sound like the healthiest thing ever-she and Christian were together for two years, and that takes time to get over. Oh, and Christian is also Gaga’s agent with Creative Artists Agency, which makes this even more complicated.
Lady Gaga may not be addressing the split, but at least she, Bradley, and Irina Shayk are great. And she ended her feud with Madonna. AND she won an Oscar. Busy week, busy week.
