The red carpet looks continue for Lady Gaga, and they just keep getting better. For the New York City premiere of the highly-anticipated House of Gucci, the singer and actress graced the carpet in a gown with a barely-there top.

For this event, Gaga opted for a sexy black Armani Privé dress with a structured, velvet bodice connected to a sheer top made of polka-dotted tulle that tied around her neck into a large bow. The star, who plays the infamous "Black Widow" Patrizia Reggiani in the forthcoming movie, accessorized with a chunky silver diamond bracelet and matching stud earrings, both by Tiffany & Co.

For her glam, Gaga wore her platinum tresses in a tight updo with short bangs and chose dark, exaggerated eye makeup and a vibrant pink lip.

On the carpet, the Oscar-winning singer posed with her co-stars Adam Driver (who plays Reggiani's husband and murder victim Maurizio Gucci) Jared Leto, and Al Pacino.

In a recent interview with Michael Strahan on Good Morning America, Gaga opened up about the rigorous work that went into becoming her character. "I spent six months working on her accent, and I then filmed the movie, which was three and a half months, so I was in accent for a really long time."

She continued, "Then I did all the research on who she was as a person, but I didn't want to meet her because I could tell very quickly that this woman wanted to be glorified for this murder, and she wanted to be remembered as this criminal."
