The Texas Tech women's basketball team will look to keep momentum on its side Tuesday afternoon.

The Lady Raiders (11-1) are set to close non-conference play by playing host to Mississippi Valley State (2-8) for a 2 p.m. tip-off in United Supermarkets Arena.

Tuesday will mark the Lady Raiders' seventh consecutive home game, the last contest away from the USA coming on Nov. 26. Texas Tech has played just one true road game in non-conference play, a Nov. 20 victory at Louisiana.

Last week, the Lady Raiders picked up a pair of lopsided victories, downing McNeese State 66-47 and UC Riverside 59-38. Those victories extended the team's winning streak to 10 game, seven of which have come by double-digit scoring margins.

Reigning Big 12 freshman of the week Bailey Maupin currently leads the Lady Raiders in scoring, averaging 12.6 points per game, shooting 41.2% from 3-point range and 42.9% from the field overall. The Gruver product has been a starter and come off the bench through the first 12 games.

Following Thursday's win over UC Riverside, Texas Tech head coach Krista Gerlich said the starting lineup is one that likely will fluctuate throughout the entire season depending on matchups and opponents. The Lady Raiders have employed seven different starting units so far this season with Rhyle McKinney (12.5 points, 51% from 3) and Bryn Gerlich (7.2 points) being the only ones to start every game.

All 10 of Tech's wins in this recent hot streak have come with Bre'Amber Scott on the floor. The senior guard has averaged 12.3 points in her 10 games of action and leads the team with 6.1 rebounds per contest.

Mississippi Valley State has had similar roster fluctuation. Through the team's first 10 games, just three players have been available for each game and two — Zaria Harleaux and Derrigan Johnson — starting each contest.

The Devilettes should have leading scoring Anjanae Mueck available for Tuesday game. Mueck missed the first seven contests of the season but has averaged 13.7 points per game in the team's last three outings.

A victory on Tuesday would mark the 12th of the season for Texas Tech, which would surpass last year's win total and give Krista Gerlich the most wins of her tenure with her alma mater.
