Lake City man missing since last month found safe Tuesday

Jun. 2—LAKE CITY — A 62-year-old man who was last seen late last month leaving his group home in Lake City to walk to a restaurant for breakfast was found safe Tuesday.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension tweeted Tuesday afternoon that John E. Vater had been found safe.
