Lake Metroparks Farmpark to host 'Railroads in the Park'
May 25—"Railroads in the Park" is coming June 3 and 4 to Lake Metroparks Farmpark.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day attendees can celebrate railroads as the event will feature operating model train display layouts including G-scale trains, Lionel O-gauge trains; Farmpark's G-scale Garden Railroad layout in the courtyard; plus a display on agriculture and the railroad.
One of the layouts is landscaped entirely by LEGOs
Children may build a wooden train engine for an additional $5 fee.
The Western Reserve Division of the National Model Railroad Association will also be in attendance with a large display in the exhibit hall with members on hand to answer any questions you may have about model trains or rail transportation.
The event is included with park admission of $7 to $9. Farmpark members, children under 2 and active military and their family receive free admission.
