Lake Region's Zarate-Garcia surges top in return of Tremendous 10 poll
Lake Region boys soccer player Jesus Zarate-Garcia picked up 34.7 percent of the vote and is The Ledger's Tremendous 10 Athlete of the Week.
Four athletes overall finished with more than 10 percent of the vote as Lakeland Christian girls soccer player KJ Straub grabbed second place with 27.2 percent, Auburndale girls soccer player Peyton Batilla (14.8 percent) finished third and McKeel boys soccer player Jacob DeJesus (11.4 percent) took fourth.
Rounding out the top 10 are McKeel girls basketball player Serenity Hardy, Winter Haven boys basketball player Dylan James, Lake Gibson girls soccer player Averi Stiles, Santa Fe Catholic boys basketball player Cooper Ellis, Davenport boys basketball player Brinley Vandiver and Victory Christian boys basketball player LJ Cason.
